AutoCate’s founder, Stefanie, started fixing cars in a garage when she was just 15 years old. A fully licensed mechanic since 2007, she’s been under the hood on more vehicles than she can count.

But as one of the industry’s few female mechanics, she was too often reminded that women are ignored, talked down to, and left feeling helpless behind the wheel of their own car.

So, in defiance of the status quo, she donned her signature bandana and red lipstick to change the industry and give all car owners the tools they need to become confident, empowered, and put them back in the driver’s seat.
