Imagine K12

Imagine K12 and Y Combinator are investing in education technology

Imagine K12 launched in 2011 as the first startup accelerator focused on education technology.
In 2016, Imagine K12 merged into Y Combinator to form an education-focused vertical within YC. Collectively, Imagine K12 and Y Combinator have backed over 100 education technology startups. Apply to Y Combinator to join our community of edtech entrepreneurs.

Education technology companies backed by Y Combinator participate fully in the Y Combinator program. Additionally, these edtech companies have full access to Imagine K12's education-specific programming and resources, including strategic advice from industry experts, introductions to education-focused investors, and an active alumni community of edtech entrepreneurs.

The Imagine K12 / Y Combinator alumni network currently includes almost 200 edtech founders who act as resources for one another. Looking for advice on networking with superintendents, calculating your TAM, or whether that edtech conference is worth the trip? Ask the people who’ve been through it before.
