Students in various medical field studies at Mohawk College will evaluate the Roturner, a sit-to-stand transfer aid manufactured by Jaide Products Inc., by executing field trials in home, clinic, and transportation settings to determine the benefits of the Roturner to both user and caregiver when transferring from one surface to another.

The Roturner has a proven track record in helping patients with impaired mobility and their caregivers to remove the strains associated with everyday living.

The Roturner is a minimal touch, sit-to-stand transfer aid designed to assist both the client and the caregiver in a safe and easy transfer. It requires minimal caregiver intervention while transferring from one surface to another.  The Roturner is the perfect transfer solution to reduce the risk of injury and strain to the caregiver and client.

With a simple design, the Roturner makes transferring safe and easy for the caregiver and user. Without the need for straps or slings, the transfer process takes under one minute from one seat to another.

Established in 2018 Jaide Products Inc. was created to bring a much needed client transfer aid to the North American Market. The Roturner is manufactured in St. Catharines, Ontario by Niagara Precision Limited.
