Meditech International is a Toronto based Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) device manufacturing company with headquarters and manufacturing base in Etobicoke. We are Health Canada and FDA approved for use in soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries and pain, but are investigating other adjunctive and potential uses in neurological disorders, athletic rehabilitation and post-surgical applications.
We are currently in partnership with St. Joe’s Research Foundation in Hamilton in developing a potential application of PBMT in post-Caesarian Section patients to hasten wound healing and lessen dependence on opioid analgesics.
