Trexo Robotics

Reimagine Your Child’s Future One Step At A Time

Trexo Robotics creates robotic gait trainers to help children with disabilities be upright and taking steps with assistance. There are 4 sizes and each device is customized based on the child’s needs, such as gait patterns, angles, speed, assistance level and more. The Trexo detects when the child is resisting, initiating, or working with the robot. The percentage of initiation is tracked on the Trexo tablet and families can track this data over the time of their Trexo use.

The Trexo has 4 walking modes, strength, endurance, extensor tone, and backwards walking mode. Once families receive the device they will be trained by the Trexo customer success manager and have regular check-ins with them to ensure the best user experience.

Trexo Home is a robotic gait training device kiddos use at home, to improve gait pattern as well as increase strength and endurance

Trexo Robotics was born out of a deeply personal experience. While studying engineering, our CEO Manmeet Maggu, learned of his nephew’s diagnosis with cerebral palsy. Searching for technologies to help his nephew stay healthy and active, he realized there were many limitations. Frustrated by this experience, he decided to change this and Trexo was born.

The Robotic Brace for children is just the beginning. At Trexo, we’re on a mission to create technologies that help people of all ages and ability levels so that collectively, we can all build healthier and happier communities.

Trexo’s story began in 2011 when Manmeet learned that his nephew, Praneit, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Like many children with CP, Praneit was unable to walk indepentendly.

Manmeet and his family searched for a solution that would alloq Praneit to walk and experience the important health benefits that come with movement and walking.

Manmeet began lookimg for a solution to help his nephew and found there was nothing on the market that would allow for children to walk, in a proper gait pattern, from a device they could use at home.

Without the ability to walk – and with no device that could aid them in not only developing a proper gait pattern, but also potentially being able to bear weight and build endurance –  these children would likely experience a myriad of health challenges.
