The Sleep Health Organization

There’s more to sleep than sleep.

The Sleep Health Organization is dedicated to empowering pediatric care providers and parents with comprehensive, evidence-based knowledge and resources to optimize children’s sleep health. Our commitment extends to fostering a community that views sleep as a crucial component of child development and overall well-being. We achieve this through evidence-based information, innovative training programs, ongoing support, and engaging resources. Our program features a signature method, the SHIP compass, which enhances the existing skills of sleep consultants by providing an algorithmic, step-by-step approach to assess and manage children’s sleep health, addressing common sleep issues and conditions effectively.

At The Sleep Health Organization, our mission is to empower pediatric care providers and parents with comprehensive evidence-based knowledge and resources to optimize the sleep health of children. We are committed to fostering a community that prioritizes sleep as a fundamental pillar of child development and overall well-being through the provision of evidence-based information, innovative training programs, ongoing support, and accessible and engaging resources.

Through our commitment to education, collaboration, and empowerment, we envision a future where every child enjoys restful and restorative sleep, fostering their physical cognitive, and emotional well-being. We know that together we can create a generation of well-rested children who thrive, achieve their full potential, and experience the joy of healthy sleep throughout their lives.

The program contains a signature method that outlines a comprehensive approach to common sleep issues and conditions. The SHIP™ compass builds on the already existing skills of a sleep consultant and provides an algorithmic step-by-step approach to assess and manage sleep health in children 0-5 years. There are physician-created scripts to discuss many topics so that you won’t ever feel uncomfortable or unsure about how to address issues you detect in your work with families.
