Current tools not tailored for routine checkup and long term tracking
Every 3 seconds a new dementia case diagnosed worldwide
Data analytics can improve dementia management and speed up therapeutics development through predictive modeling of data that is:
on-demand to measure a person's current biological profile
large and inclusive for minimal population bias
correlated quickly with existing and orthogonal data
To provide effective and specific health guidance for dementia management through neuro-biomarker analytics
On-demand multiplexed blood tests, tracking neuro-biomarkers evolution
Biomarker patient profile modeling with connected biosensing platform for large diverse populations
Predictive data analytics for individualized pharmacokinetics, enabling personalized medicine
Currently, LynxSurfBio is focusing on developing a better tool for clinicians and therapeutic developers to analyze neuro-biomarkers related to neurodegenerative diseases (NDD) leading to dementia. Dementia represents a health care tsunami that has already impacted and will continue to impact the rapidly aging population worldwide. Utilizing our simple drop-of-blood to test for the associated biomarkers, we envision a Data-as-a-Software (DaaS) platform that will provide AI assisted dementia patient profiling allowing for both early prognosis and personalized treatment approaches.
LynxSurfBio's vision is anchored in our expertise developing sensitive and specific biosensors highly adapted for direct blood detection in home care settings. The biosensor technology, based on engineered nano-bioreceptors, has been clinically validated through 100+ patient cohort in the 2.3M Eur Horizon 2020 project developing a rapid Covid-19 antigen test.
As an exclusive licensee of the bioreceptor IP and trade secrets from the EU project, LynxsurfBio has in addition demonstrated the application of such technology to detect low level concentration of biomarkers in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Some examples are:
cTnI cardio biomarker for cardiovascular diseases monitoring
S100β brain biomarker in traumatic brain injuries
agricultural testing like GFLV virus detection in vineyard
