Li-Cycle’s Hubs are expected to produce high-quality, critical battery materials, including battery-grade lithium carbonate.

We have multiple operational Spoke recycling facilities in North America and Europe, with the flexibility for expansion.

The Rochester Hub is expected to process up to 35,000 tonnes of black mass per year and produce up to ~8,250 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate and up to ~72,000 tonnes of MHP annually.

The Rochester Hub is expected to be the first commercial hydrometallurgical battery resource recovery facility and the first source of recycled battery-grade lithium carbonate production in North America.

Li-Cycle and Glencore are collaborating to assess the technical and economic viability of a new Hub facility in Portovesme, Italy, including a concept and pre-feasibility study.
