Our technology converts waste biomass to hydrogen, renewable natural gas, methanol or ethanol
We use gasification followed by a series of highly efficient catalytic reactions to produce carbon negative hydrogen, renewable natural gas, methanol or ethanol
Woodland makes carbon negative, renewable fuel at the lowest cost on the planet. Our technology helps solve some of the world's most pressing problems by providing low cost fuel, dealing with excess waste, and mitigating climate change. Currently most of the world’s fuel supply is derived from oil. Near-complete dependence on a single source of fuel is expensive, bad for the environment, and dangerous. Using food to make fuel creates a different set of problems.
Woodland’s technology uses waste biomass, not food, to generate low cost, carbon negative hydrogen, renewable natural gas, methanol or ethanol. From an environmental perspective, Woodland’s technology results in up to a 283% reduction in GHG emissions.
Woodland's headquarters are located in Toronto, Ontario in the MaRS Building at the corner of University Avenue and College Street. Our Demonstration Plant operations are located in Sarnia, Ontario.
