Tiny Mile is a robotics company founded by Ignacio Tartavull in 2019. The company is based in Toronto, but its operations are in Miami, Florida. Our mission is to seamlessly integrate robots into last-mile delivery for a faster, cheaper, and more environmentally friendly solution. While we work tirelessly in pursuit of the mission, we will never run from the whimsical. Our robots, collectively named Geoffrey after the godfather of AI, Geoffrey Hinton, travel mostly on sidewalks, are safely remotely piloted, and are adorned in an unforgettable pink. Ignacio Tartavull has a background in industrial engineering and a strong commitment to safety in the field of autonomous technology. Prior to founding Tiny Mile, Ignacio worked for Uber, where he played a crucial role in mapping for self-driving cars. However, after a tragic incident at Uber, Ignacio decided to reassess his mission. This led him on a transformative journey, ultimately resulting in the creation of Tiny Mile.

In his Toronto apartment, Ignacio both developed the first-ever Tiny Mile robot and remotely piloted it through the downtown streets. Today, he works closely with the engineering team to continue the development of the robots to improve safety and reliability and continues to serve as the living embodiment of the robots he first designed 5 years ago.
