Care Weather

Care Weather is transforming global and maritime weather forecasts with hourly satellite maps of global ocean winds.

Care Weather's mission is to save lives and livelihoods with the most accurate and helpful weather forecasting system ever. That begins with satellites that monitor global weather in real time with high resolution and high accuracy. No other measurement platform has the potential to provide a global solution with such exponential impact.
Until now, weather and environmental satellites have cost billions, stalled for decades, and stagnated since the 1990s. Care Weather was founded by Patrick Walton and Alex Laraway to reduce the cost of these satellites by 1000X, unlocking orders of magnitude more truth data for next-gen forecasts.

The Care Weather team holds records for the smallest radar satellite ever and the fastest time from concept to launch. Care Weather designs, builds, and operates the Veery satellites from its headquarters in Orem, Utah.
