East Africa has the highest global incidence of milk-borne diseases. Alarmingly, 30% of deaths are in children under 5. This is because 90% of milk in East Africa is sold through informal, unregulated markets which lack the tools for safety and transparency.
We are one mission to make sure the next time an East African picks up a glass of milk, they are not afraid that it is dangerous, but are confident that it is Safi.
