Conry Tech was co-founded by Ron Conry and Sam Ringwaldt. Ron is an award winning inventor who personally developed most of the major technological breakthroughs in the HVAC industry over the last 40 years, and Sam has built businesses into global leaders around the technologies Ron has developed. Sam and Ron have been at the forefront of sustainability and energy efficiency in the HVAC industry for over 20 years, and have driven the adoption of oil-free high efficiency chiller technology globally, achieving major global market share. The product designs Ron previously developed, that Sam took to market, have seen commercial buildings power consumption reduced by over 25%, and radically changed the HVAC industry worldwide.

After decades pioneering these advances in air-conditioning Ron & Sam were convinced that there must be a better way, but it would require way outside the box thinking, resulting in throwing away 100 years of conventional wisdom. To tackle climate change rapidly we all need to seriously conserve energy and where we have to use it, make sure we use it more efficiently. Saving energy can be achieved at a faster rate than the deployment of extra renewables, so a transition to a fully renewable grid can be accelerated by significantly reducing the energy consumed currently by heating and cooling.

To this end, Conry Tech was established in 2020 to re-invent air-conditioning and bring another revolutionary system to market that has the potential to change everyone’s expectations about air-conditioning. Not only will it slash energy consumption and CO2 emissions, but it will dramatically improve comfort and indoor air quality, and allow energy to be used and shared intelligently. The team at Conry Tech have established over 40 factories globally, and they are leveraging their specialised experience and knowledge, and their proven ability to transform ideas into revolutionary commercial products, to disrupt their industry once again.
